Teacher

Mr. John Tai (戴賢聰老師). Descended from a paternal grandfather and granduncle who both graduated from the ROC Military Academy and served for many years in wartime as planning staff officer and regiment commander against the Japanese and all, the teacher received from his youth a foundation in classical linguistics and in the major Chinese classics and has ever since enthused over deploying classical wisdom to galvanize wisdom in real life. Fluent in several languages, he is an educator cum business strategist. He is the founder and the managing editor of an academic consultancy for scholars from top universities such as HKU, CUHK, LSE, Harvard, Stanford, and Cambridge; and has worked in law and venture capital. He taught as an adjunct French instructor for the University of Hong Kong. He has also studied, worked, and travelled to over 40 different towns, cities, and mountainous regions in China to serve and teach the underprivileged in rural areas on areas of medicine and education and poverty relief. From 2008 to 2010, upon the invitation of the East China Normal University, he was a full-time pro-bono English teacher for migrant children and a pedagogy trainer of English teachers in Shanghai.
